See the BattleBots, Meet the Builders! Join The Maker Effect Foundation for a fundraiser event featuring more than a dozen elite combat robot builders from the BattleBots television show. Mingle with BattleBots teams, see robot exhibitions, and bid on silent auction items from your favorite robot builder. Only 100 tickets will be sold for this exclusive event! Proceeds from the Robot Ruckus VIP Fundraiser benefit The Maker Effect Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity. Your support helps fund our combat robotics program, which includes Robot Ruckus events and UPGRADES / maintenance for large combat robot arena and systems. This event will take place on November 9th, immediately following the first day of Maker Faire Orlando 2019 and the main Robot Ruckus competition. Proceeds from the silent auction will be used for the Robot Ruckus combat robotics program which includes Robot Ruckus tournaments and educational events. We have received parts from the following teams (as of October 5th, 2019): ExtinguisherHypershock (including parts from the icon fight with HUGE)KrakenWitch Doctor (including parts damaged by Minotaur) In addition we will be auctioning special experiences including the opportunity to drive a BattleBot and to crush something fun with Kraken! (Rumor has it that we will also be auctioning a slow dance with HyperShock's Will Bales, but we cannot confirm such a rumor at this time. Details The VIP Fundraiser will be held immediately after the first day of Maker Faire Orlando and the Robot Ruckus combat robot competition. Robot Ruckus VIP tickets do not include admission to Maker Faire Orlando 2019 or the Robot Ruckus combat robot competition at Maker Faire Orlando 2019.
