This means that darker-skinned black people have to fight prejudice even within their own community, where lighter skin is seen as more desirable. As such, darker-skinned black people can experience both racism and colorism. EMPOWERING OUR YOUTH EMPOWERING, WOMEN, MEN, AND COMMUNITIES Our Purpose Is to provide us a platform to be 100% ourselves and to share a different outlook while being open, honest, and transparent about real-life situations we go through; and the process to reach the level of success we aspire to. From career, life hardships, relationships, building a business and so much more. We hope to inspire, encourage and uplift women of color.
