The Naked Angels Theater Company's weekly cold reading series, that’s been successfully running in New York and Los Angeles for 28 years, is officially continuing their Miami chapter at Speak Easy Theater Co for the 2019/2020 Season! Actors, writers and musicians, this is your chance to workshop your projects in development and explore new characters without the pressures of casting, all while building community with fellow creatives and audience members. How do you exercise your acting training? Where can you hear your scripts-in-development read aloud to work out the kinks? How can Miami creatives develop a sense of community and pump a heartbeat into the county-wide entertainment family? THIS. WHO: Open to everyone WHAT: https://www.nakedangels.com/tuesdays-9 Consider this going to the gym. Strengthening your acting/ writing/ performance skills and building an entertainment community, every week. WHEN: Tuesday, September 10, 2019 and Every Tuesday night afterwards through May 2020: Doors open at 8pm, Casting begins at 8:30pm, Reading starts at 9pm sharp! (It wouldn’t be called Tuesdays at 9 otherwise, right?) Actors, please arrive by 8:30pm the latest to be cast. Writers, please hand a hard copy of your script to one of the Creative Directors at the end of the event.
