The model we use for Family Constellations work is based upon the teachings of Dr. Bert Hellinger, and our personal training with Mark Wollyn of the Hellinger Institute. Family Constellations sessions are an opportunity to uncover and resolve unwanted patterns, habits, and behaviors that we've inherited in early childhood or from past generations. Unresolved trauma and emotions continue to exist in the family system and are transmitted to children from parents, grandparents and even great grandparents, or other family members who have been through a difficult or tragic fate. Until these traumas and unresolved emotions are brought to the surface, they can't be released from our consciousness (specifically our subconscious mind) and they continue to influence our lives, choices, and quality of life experience and relationships, often without our realizing when, where, how, and why it's happening.
