This is a 14-hour class held on Saturday & Sunday This workshop is for beginners as well as experienced turners. This series is a comprehensive workshop of bowl and spindle turning. In this class you will learn safe lathe operation and spend the majority of your class time perfecting technique through a series of projects. Topics include proper lathe set-up, spindle and face-plate turning, making a pen, bowl turning, making a lidded box or turning a wine chalice. All you need to bring is enthusiasm and energy to learn new techniques. Join this class and take home treasures you will be proud of for years to come. All materials are included. Dress is casual, closed toe shoes, hair tied back, no loose fitting clothes.
