Graduation is around the corner and scholarships are available all over this country for students. Scholarships can be grants or payments made to support a student's education, awarded based on achievements or even personal characteristics. Through the months of October and November the NAACP and the Resource Room will hold four sessions strictly focused on helping students write essays to apply for scholarships. They will be working with professionals and volunteers who have dedicated their time to help them succeed. Overall, we want to use the opportunity not to only assist the students with writing their essays but to also let them know they have the support of their community. This event is ONLY for juniors and seniors in highschool.
