“When We Were Apollo” Movie Screening

On Wednesday, November 13th at 4 p.m. Vero Beach will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo Moon landing with a special showing of the documentary, When We Were Apollo, at the Majestic Theater. Not only will the event highlight Apollo but it will also be a fundraiser for the Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation.
But this will be more than just a private screening of the documentary. It will also feature one of the voices that spoke about the years of Apollo in the documentary, Martha Lemasters, author of her memoir, The Step. Lemasters will lead a panel discussion featuring two of the “brilliant minds” she wrote about in her book.
