THE WALK IS ON!!! ***OUR ORIGINAL WALK SCHEDULED FOR 8/31/19 HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY RESCHEDULED FOR 11/23/19*** Come join us Saturday, November 23, 2019, between 10am – 4pm at the Kissimmee Civic Center & Indoor Arena located at Kissimmee's beautiful downtown Lakefront Park to HELP KEEP KIDS OFF THE STREET! This year's Walk holds great purpose for thousands of lives impacted by Hurricane Dorian with 100% of the monies raised from this year's Walk being donated to help keep the Bahamian kids off the streets through Hurricane Dorian Bahama disaster relief efforts. If you haven't had a chance to give to this worthy cause yet, please consider doing so today. Our event is completely free and open to everyone, but donations will be accepted before and during the event to help in the Bahama relief efforts. Donations can be made in person on Walk day, or beforehand through gofundme (www.gofundme.com/ocojwalk2019), our OCOJ cash app (cashtag: $OCOJ), or Paypal (email donations to: donations@ocoj.org). Be sure to indicate "9th Annual Walkathon" in any donations made through Cash App or Paypal, so the monies are properly distributed to the Bahamian relief efforts. All donations are 100% tax deductible given our 501(c)(3) non profit status (EIN: 59-3161637). Aside from it being free to register and walk in this year's event, free food and drink will also be provided, and everyone who registers to walk will be eligible to enter the free raffle we'll be conducting throughout the event where over $10,000 worth of FREE giveaways from local Restaurants & Attractions will be given away including 2 bowling and pizza party packages for up to 30 and fun-filled weekend getaway grand prize packages for Youth and Adults. Originally, this Walk was scheduled to take place outside at the Lakefront Park; however, this year's Walk on 11/23 will take place indoors at the Kissimmee Civic Center. On Walk day, come inside the Civic Center to Check-in/Register, and make your way to the indoor Civic Center Arena for the actual walking. Ample free parking is conveniently located at the Civic Center and overflow parking is available in the free parking garage also next to the Civic Center.
