Florida Cattlemen’s Institute and Allied Trade Show will be held on January 16, 2020 @ Turner Agri-Civic Center from 8:00am – 4:00pm. Come out on the evening of January 15th for a steak dinner with statewide cattlemen, allied members, and industry leaders. Bring a friend, the more the merrier! The Holiday Inn Express will serve as the Institute headquarters hotel. Topics to be covered include: Florida Cattlemen’s Association Update – Matt Pearce, FCA President UF/IFAS Update – Dr. John Arthington, Department Chair of Animal Sciences at UF Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services – Nikki Fried, Commissioner of Agriculture Conclusions of Buck Island Ranch Research – Dr. Betsy Boughton, Program Director of Agroecology and Associate Research Biologist at Buck Island Ranch Fly Control – Dr. Phillip Kaufman, Professor of Veterinary Entomology at UF Emerging Diseases- Dr. Mike Short, State Veterinarian and Division Director of Animal Industry at the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Record Keeping Producer Panel (TBD) For Trade Show Exhibitors: This year’s registration fee includes ten (10) free steak dinner cookout tickets for Wednesday evening and fifteen (15) luncheon tickets for Thursday. The steak dinner cookout tickets and lunch tickets will be included in your packet that you will receive in the mail upon registration. The steak dinner cookout for YOU AND YOUR INVITED CLIENTELE will take place on Wednesday evening, January 15, 2020 beginning at 6:30 p.m. for dinner and will be held at the Turner Agri-Civic Center Exhibit Hall. As an exhibitor, you will help ensure the success of the Institute and Allied Trade Show and benefit your business as well. Reserve your space and get your tickets by completing the registration form and return to Florida Cattlemen’s Institute & Allied Trade Show, UF/IFAS Polk County 1702 S Holland Pkwy, Bartow, FL 33830.
