Bonkerz Comedy Nights continue in the Oviedo on the Park new downtown development. These fun and wacky shows will be held inside the Cultural Center at the beautiful Center Lake Park. Doors will open at 6:00pm with happy/social hour (cash bar). Hilarity ensues at approximately 7:30pm (expected to end at approximately 9pm but could go a little longer at times). Tickets are $15 each for this special show. HOWEVER, the the first 50 guests will only pay $5 for these unforgetable nights of fun. The next 100 tickets will be at just $10 each. Then all remaining tickets are at regular general admission price (~50-75). Don't delay – secure your spot today! We do expect to sell out. There are only about 200 seats available! ALL THESE SHOWS ARE 18+ (except if listed otherwise). There is adult language, content, themes, etc. Cash bar on site for your convenience & enjoyment. 21+. Drink responsibly. Before of after the show feel free to enjoy the rest of beautiful Center Lake Park. There is a large amphitheater lawn, dog park, Veterans Tribute, lakeside stage & lawn, splash pad, playground, Marina (paddle boats), Cantina (concession stand), lifesize chess board, playground, and side stage & lawn too. There is a little something for everyone at this facility. Of course, there are great new restaurants and bars within walking distance in the Oviedo on the Park development as well. Plan to arrive early to secure your seats. There are also high top tables around the back as optional viewing areas as well. The room is typically on the cool side so you may want to bring a layer if you tend to run cold. Free parking. No smoking/vaping. No travel to downtown Orlando or Sanford or elsewhere. No drink minimum. Although, lots of reasonably priced beverage options on site for your convenience if you'd like. Sep 14 – Chris Gorges as seen on NBC, with special guest Chris Gorges has been a staple of the Tampa Bay comedy scene for over ten years. He is a founding member of the Charming Hooligans improv troupe and has opened for such comedy greats as Dave Chappelle. His high energy, improvisational style of comedy has been described by his peers as "every man's comedy". His shows include candid looks at popular culture as well as physical comedy, and he utilizes his audience for a-one-of-a-kind experience. This is comedy in its purest form in a show you just have to see! Nov 2 – Kevin White as seen on HBO and The Today Show, with special guest This Bostonian southerner describes himself as a wounded veteran of two disastrous marriages. It's no surprise. Raised on a strict regime of cartoons, comics books and afternoon movie marathons, Kevin's outlook on life and love have been professionally described as 'Somewhat troubled'. But it's his unique outlook that will have you feeling right at home. Kevin's loose grip on reality comes from his disjointed career as an actor. He has appeared on bit parts on HBO, a major role in the motion picture 'The Investigator', he's chatted with Manny, Moe and Jack in a 'Pep Boys' commercial and even sang the blues with Al Roker on NBC's 'The Today Show'. Kevin has that look of the guy you know from that thing. But once you spend some time in his mind, you'll be reminded why so many women describe him as an 'Ex'! Dec 21 – Comic/Magician BJ Odom as seen on FOX and Comedy Central, with special guest With over 30 years of radio and 20 years performing experience the hilarious stand-up comedy of BJ Odom prompts laughs from all ages. The perfect mix of stand-up and magic lets the crowd become part of the show. BJ has been seen on Fox and Friends and Comedy Central. Has opened for Elaine Boosler, Jim Brewer, Darrell Hammond along with the Monkees, Lovin' Spoonful and many more. Ages 13+ (family friendly show).
