Happy holidays to all!The holidays can be a stressful time for some, especially those of us whose families don't see us for who we are. So we're excited to host a holiday party where everyone is welcome!Additionally, proceeds will help us to fund our feminist healthcare agenda!Tickets are $40.00 in advance, $50 at the door.Food and beer/wine will be providedWe'll have photo booths set up, and will be doing raffle prizes from local businesses!Proceeds will go towards costs associated with:• Birth control (we already provide free appointments for BC, but would like to do more with helping patients afford the actual medications).• Pap smears (we currently provide at-cost Pap smears, but even that can be a lot for much of our community. So we'd like to create a fund to help offset costs for those who can't afford it).• Transition management (we currently offer sliding-scale appointments for our transgender and gender-nonconforming patients. However, local labs and pharmacies do not offer sliding scales, so that can be a barrier for many. *Shout-out to Strive who have been helping some of our patients with that – but neither of us can do it alone!)• Etc. (as we've grown, we've been able to expand our scope to help more and more people. We just started doing HIV testing, and are looking at getting the supplies to do more. The more things we can do in-house, the more affordable we can make things for our patients).We would greatly appreciate volunteers for the bar, buffet, raffle table, reception, and photo stations.
