The Northwest Florida Chapter of the Florida Association for the Education of Young Children and the Early Learning Coalition of Santa Rosa County present Playful Heroes: The Spirit of the Early Childhood Professional featuring Keynote Speaker Richard Cohen Come join us as Richard Cohen, M.A., offers a day of fun, games and music through innovative, thought-provoking, interactive learning experiences designed for anyone working with children. Richard Cohen is a former early education teacher and trainer who for the last twenty years has traveled the world as a consultant, coach, and motivational speaker. Richard is also a college professor teaching Early Care and Education at the community college level, currently at Manchester Community College in Connecticut. He also curates his viral social media presence Zen and the Art of Early Childhood Education* and hosts community sing-a-longs. As his early childhood heroes he lists Bev Bos, Fred Rogers, and T. Berry Brazelton, M.D., among others.
