Saffron Supper Club is BACK! On Sunday, November 10th, Saffron Supper Club will host their beloved traveling dinner series for the first time at Lobster Bar Sea Grille Miami Beach with a unique Greek feast! The night will be centered around Modern Greek Cooking, a spectacular cookbook by Corporate Executive Chef Pano I. Karatassos of Buckhead Life Restaurant Group, Lobster Bar’s parent company, who will be flying down from Atlanta to join guests for this special event. At $65 per person, the evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a private cocktail reception and passed bites, followed by a curated three-course Greek dinner. Served family-style, the menu will consist of nine tastings showcasing Chef Pano’s updated take on Greek flavor combinations and ingredients with dishes like Red Pepper & Feta Spread, Char Grilled Mediterranean Octopus, Whole Fish Royal Dorade steamed in Grape Leaves, and Lamb Chops, and a dessert of Blueberry Galaktoboureko to finish.
Modern Greek Cooking is a compilation of 100 best-loved recipes served at Chef Pano's award-winning Atlanta restaurant, Kyma, paying homage to the flavors and traditions of Greece, and to the wealth of insight about Greek cooking passed down from his grandmother, as well as his classical French training, and even a touch of his Southern roots. Guests will also have the chance to take home their very own copy of the book for an additional $18.
