Make creativity part of your family routine the 4th Saturday of each month during Family Art Lab! Drop in for free, hands-on family fun from 10 a.m. to noon. Explore something new every month like art making, gallery activities, games and more – all inspired by artworks on view in the gallery, famous artists, national holidays and artistic traditions around the world. Come ready to imagine and create! After the fun, peruse local produce and products at our GreenMarket.
This month, projects will include paper flamingos and comic strip making. Jump into the tropics and make your own paper flamingo to take home! Young artists can also create their own comic strips; learning how to use story telling techniques, character development, and symbolism to tell their own epic tales!
